Why I chose to learn about Pantheism.

I chose this topic because I’ve been wanting to learn more about other religions than just my own. I think it is important to understand what other people believe in instead of only focusing on one perspective. Being open minded can help me and others to become more respectful, understanding and accepting of others. I also wanted to sort of challenge myself to learn about a completely new concept, something I’ve never really dug into.

As of now, I still don’t know very much about Pantheism, which is one of the reasons I chose it. I haven’t really heard too much talk about it which only makes me more curious and wanting to learn more about it. I’m curious what and why Pantheists believe in what they do. I want to know what beliefs Pantheism align with and how they compare to other religions, also what makes it unique. I am especially interested in learning how Pantheists view nature, spirituality, and the world around them.

Another reason I picked this topic to dive into is because I enjoy learning about different cultures and ways of thinking. I believe studying different religions makes you super open minded and helps better understand one another in the most respectful way possible, and reduce judgement between groups of people. Overall, I chose Pantheism because I want to expand my knowledge and become more aware of beliefs outside of my own experiences.

Lastly, I’m not too educated on this topic yet, so I’ll be careful with what I say, but I know pantheists generally believe that God exists within nature and the universe, including Earth itself. They believe nature and the universe are spiritual in some way and reflect a higher power.
