GitHub Copilot is Now a “Peer Programmer”!

Copilot used to give you suggestions while writing code (pair programmer). Now Copilot can complete tasks you give it from start to finish (peer programmer).

**You can assign a GitHub issue (bug or feature request) directly to Copilot.**

Copilot takes that task, writes code, tests it and even creates a pull request.

This feature is now available for all Copilot Enterprise and Pro+ users.

Microsoft unveiled Edit, a new command-line text editor that pays homage to the old DOS editor.

• It includes modern features inspired by VS Code
