Another popular stop for people in New York is the Charging Bull on Wall Street. The bronze bull has become a part of New York’s financial district. Visitors wait in line to take photos with the statue, making it one of the most photographed spots in the city.

The Bull on Wall Street is gold in many areas, such as the nose and horns. This is caused by so many people touching the bull. The statue is made of bronze, which is a metal that, when touched it will take on a shiny, gold-like appearance.

Broadway is another fun part of New York’s culture. The city is known for its Broadway theaters. Many people travel to the city to see a Broadway show. The theaters, bright signs and busy streets help create the atmosphere that Broadway is known for.

Many visitors also travel to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty. The statue has stood in New York Harbor for more than 100 years and is one of the most famous symbols of freedom in the United States. People take a ferry to the island, where they can see the statue up close.

Another location is the 9/11 Memorial. The memorial honors the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and gives visitors a place to remember that day. Many people who visit the memorial spend time reading the names of those who were lost and learning more about the events.
