Some people become experts very quickly, while others struggle for years without making progress.

Why? Because they don’t focus on one thing at a time.

What does science say?

Our brain builds neural pathways — like roads in our minds. When we repeat a specific skill again and again, that road becomes stronger and faster to use. But if we try to focus on multiple things at once, our brain has to build a new road every time, which slows down progress. That’s why no path becomes strong enough.

Take Elon Musk — he first learned engineering, then business, and later mastered space technology. If he had tried to learn everything all at once, maybe SpaceX and Tesla wouldn’t exist today.

According to the “Deep Work” theory:

If you focus on just one skill for 90 days, you can become 90% proficient in it.

✅ What’s the right method?

👉 Choose one skill (e.g., video editing, coding, or content writing) 👉 Focus only on that for 90 days 👉 Practice daily and take one step at a time 👉 Once you become an expert in it, then move on to the next skill

The result?

You can learn 2–3 new skills every year, and become far more successful than an average person.
