- Who am I?
Hi there, my name is Mei Mikuriya. I am a Japanese 17 year old that spent 1 month in Ghana. I am on a scholarship by the Japanese ministry of education called “tobitate” which means “to take off/fly off”. I am a coordinator of the JAFRIC exchange platform. I attended a week each at Mawuko senior high school and Mawuli senior high school not only to all classes but I stayed at the boarding house. During the first half, I had vast opportunities such as meeting the Japanese Ambassador at Accra and meeting the regional director of education of the Volta region. Therefore, I want to share all my thoughts and experiences here, using my Medium page. The first articles will contain two weeks worth of content and the second half will be about the rest of my volunteer and home stay experience at Kekeli Foundation.
