Gwadar Development Authority Saves Rs. 15 Million in Revenue Generation Drive

The Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) has saved Rs. 15 million through increased revenue generation, better resource management, and austerity measures. This achievement was shared during a meeting chaired by GDA Director General Moin-ur-Rehman Khan on March 11.

The meeting, attended by key officials including Chief Engineer Haji Syed Muhammad and Director Finance Zakir Majeed, reviewed the past three years’ revenue performance and explored new strategies to boost income. GDA is considering multiple options for further revenue growth, focusing on departments such as Town Planning, Building Control, and Land Management.

Moin-ur-Rehman Khan emphasized the need for a thorough reassessment of revenue streams and urged departments to present actionable recommendations. He also stressed the importance of adhering to austerity policies, limiting resource usage, and moving towards financial self-reliance.
