Curated with care and attention, AMPY FM and their resident DJ’s PB, Dre , Mc Thickum and Ampy have an intuition into feelings and genres that hits beyond the trends and algorithms of the now. Straddling the place of culture and branching into fashion and live events AMPY and the Gang are ones to watch.

I can’t remember how I came across AMPY FM but like all great gems for me it started on Soundcloud. Still my go to place for new sounds. There was something about the design of the brand that just made me want to click play. And I am so glad that I did.

There is another branch of experiential events, shows, convening that are emerging in the UK that are asking diffrent questions of how we want to gather and why. The soundtracks of these moments will be curated by collectives like AMPY FM.

+44 PB & Dre

Timeless mixes that are rooted in the melting pot that is the UK music scene but have a global resonance, floating between RnB, UK Rap, Neo soul Hip Hop, House, alte and more. The main thread is great quality music.

Putting songs next to each other that you didn’t know could co exist. The pockets in-between beats and rhymes that just make you want to move and pull ‘that face’. And ofcourse putting you on to the next artists to watch. so again keep your Shazam On.

The roaster of DJ’s which iclude Plus 44, Mc Thickum, Dre and Ampy himslef all have their indviduals styles which when they assemble is a pleasure to watch but also if you are lucky to catch these DJ’s by themsleves across London and the UK you will be transported to another place.
