I need to tell you something.
Mr. ShubhamAgrawal mentioned me in this challenge. So, I want to say thank you so much for nominating me and tagging me to receive the torch of challenge and flame of happiness. Here’s his entry for this challenge:

The idea behind this challenge is to make a fun and enjoyable writing challenge. It was designed to “inspire and bring fun” to the writers rather than to impress and win.
The rules are simple:
- See the light: a friend or two nominated you to participate by tagging you in their story. Say thanks to them. It means they think about you when they write theirs. Ain’t that sweet?
- Receive the flame: Answer the question given by your friend. You can also pretend you were interviewed by a legit famous magazine or invited to a famous podcast. You are all damn badass writers after all!
- Feed the flame: Yep, it needs more fun ideas, creative writing, and writers to keep the light on. So, nominate eleven of your friends. I doubt I have that many, though.
- Share the flame: Create your own set of eleven questions to annoy your friends! Kidding. Of course, to know them better. To make them shine! To cherish their creativity!
You get the idea, No?
I personally think it’s like chain messages, or chain stories. Just like when we play tag. We tap our friend’s back and say, “tagged, you’re in!”. Who started this? Why and When?
Let’s feed you some facts
My short and not-so-thorough research found that the first person who wrote for this particular challenge in Medium Anitei Andrada. All the way back from 2017. Fascinating!

The award was passed from her fellow writer on their WordPress account.
And the first person who wrote for the same challenge this year is Ruler Of Twilight in March 2026.

By the tremendous amount of entries of this challenge, you should be proud because you helped many writers unlock their creativity, maybe knocked down their writer’s block by writing for this very challenge. So a very hearty thank you, and Congratulations, dear!

Now, we arrive at the fun part!
These are questions from ShubhamAgrawal. And I’ll try to answer them, from my standpoint, from what I feel and what I think right now. It might not be a good answer, and some of it will probably not make any sense. But, hey! It’s fun to try to confuse you.
- How do you stay motivated when things don’t go according to plan? Shit happens. All the time. Sometimes I got frustrated, not gonna lie. And how do I stay motivated when things go south? I really don’t have an answer to this. Because when something like this happens, it mostly kills my mood, then my motivation will jump straight to the bottom of the cliff. And I might think the best way to solve this is to do other things and wait until my motivation returns. Read: It does not always come back. But my problem-solving score is 2.5 out of 10. So yeah, let’s cross our fingers.
- What is your biggest fear that you are trying to overcome? That I bite too much more than I should. And it hurt them, but I don’t know it.
- What, according to you, is love? L.O.V.E. is four letters that are easier to show, to feel, to break, and to fall than to say.
- Who are you? (Write a bit about yourself) The “About” page in Meta Marvelia pretty much says everything about me. But if you insist, here we go: I kept casting the wrong spells that have most likely backfired on me, and I might have fallen too many times in my unepic Quidditch games and once slammed my head against the Ravenclaw’s tower too hard; I might have broken a few brain cells. I think that’s what I thought.
- What is that dream destination that you would like to visit or have visited? See, I am easily dreaming for things. And when I look at my pc’s wallpaper, it keeps showing me beautiful places on Earth. I didn’t make a list of them all, unfortunately. And right now it’s showing the aurora borealis somewhere in the fjord in Norway. Now, who wouldn’t want to visit it? But, do you believe me when I say the dream place I want to be is anywhere with my loved ones? It’s not a place. But a person. One or two. ;)
- What is your comfort food? Rice with grilled meat (chicken, beef, fish, egg — yes, you can grill it!), add sambal (chili) to it, and perfect the dish with raw veggies.
- What is your cheat day food? Instant noodles are my escape food. Sometimes I have it when I’m feeling sad, or just craving for msg. Lol.
- Which is your favourite season of the year? The options are just rainy and dry seasons. Perks of living in the tropical climate. But I think the rainy season is slightly better than the dry season. You can romanticize being in a coffee shop on a rainy day, with a hot latte on our table, and a warm hand holding yours like you’re the only one that matters. Who wouldn’t want that?
- What is that one thing that keeps you curious all the time? Believe it or not. Cooking. When I see an interesting dish or cake, it can occupy my brain until I can make it. Successfully. You just wish you didn’t live in the same roof with me during the trial cooking or baking. You might become an unwilling participant to taste my experiments (which mostly contain lots of failure).
- What is that one thing that annoys you the most? My alarm. In the morning. It’s a love-hate relationship.
- What is that one thing you regret having and losing? Regret is something I don’t like to discuss or share with others. But for this one. I’ll tell you my biggest regret and loss. I wasn’t there when my father took his last breath. I was still on the train, chasing the time. But time never waits. Death never waits. I still had a phone conversation with him the previous night before he passed away. I wish I had told him that I love him so much. But no, we just had a normal conversation, talking about my new job. So, if you still have your parents, do call them, tell them you love them. :)
You know this part is coming, right?
I’m rubbing my palms together, preparing to grant you my version of the eleven flames. You’d better get ready. Here’s the loose pixie dust:
- If life has a soundtrack. What music describes today, or lately?
- If your life is a reality show. What would it be called?
- What would your warning label say?
- What’s a small thing that instantly improves your mood?
- What’s your go-to excuse when you don’t want to do something?
- Do you talk to yourself? How often? When does this usually happen?
- What’s a “default setting” you wish you could change about yourself?
- What do you avoid even though you know it might help you?
- What’s something you learned the hard way that actually stuck?
- What do you look like on your worst day? A lion? A snake? As calm as stone? Or maybe like the devil itself?
- Tell us one of your favorite stories in Medium. Who wrote it? What made it special? But you can’t use words to explain it. Use Emojis instead! That would be fun as well as frustrating! But I know you can do it!
Now I’m spreading the flame and will nominate my friends on Medium who might want to participate in this fun!

That’s the best part!
