Hotel pools with bucket list skyline views in Asia
If you love skyline views then you’ll be delighted with the hotel pools on this list, I selected the hotels with the most impressive skyline views that I would love to stay at. And what’s better than pools with a view, most of these hotels offer rooms with the same impressive skyline view too.
Without further ado, let’s look at the hotels.

The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong

Why watch the Hong Kong skyline from the ground when you can also do it from the highest indoor swimming pool in the world? You find the swimming pool of the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong on the 118th floor of the ICC overlooking Victoria Harbour and the famous skyline.
The pool is a world record holder, but if you’re not a world record swimmer there is always the spa on the 116th floor. The ultimate place to relax, relax some more and treat yourself while enjoying the view from up in the clouds.
If you’d like to soak with a bit more privacy, book one of the Premier Executive Victoria Harbour Suites and you’ll get the same skyline view from the bathtub in your private bathroom.
W Shanghai — The Bund

Most people stay at the W Shanghai The Bund hotel for the views from the room, but real insiders know the outdoor pool is the place to be. Relax on the luxurious sunbeds and cool down in the pool all while soaking in the views of the famous Pudong skyline.
However it’s at nightfall when the real party starts, when the DJ arrives, the Shanghai skyline lights up and the space transforms into an unofficial nightclub with pool access.
Grab a cocktail from the WET® Deck food truck, sink into a lounger, and watch Shanghai sparkle from the front row.
The only rule?
Don’t expect to swim laps, that’s what the indoor pool is for.
The W Shanghai The Bund has a dual pool setup, with the heated indoor pool giving you plenty of opportunity for a few laps to stay fit or get rid of that poolparty hangover.
Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse

In the heart of bold bustling Bangkok you find the Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse, a luxury escape in the Thai capital that offers an infinity pool on the 18th floor with panoramic views of the King Power Mahanakhon tower.
While the 18th floor sounds relatively low in a city with plenty of high rise like Bangkok, the location of the hotel just outside the dense skyscraper cluster in Silom gives you a “wraparound” visual experience.
Choose your vibe with this pool with a view in Bangkok, the outdoor pool is a tranquil escape in the morning. A bit too hot, please bring enough sunscreen, in the afternoon and turns into a high-end gathering spot around sunset all through the evening.
Where the King Power Mahanakhon tower makes for a spectacular view all day, the real show starts after the sun has set and the skyline turns into a sparkling backdrop.
Think starry nights, even on cloudy days.
The Rosewood Hong Kong

Not a big fan of heights? Or looking for a serene outdoor infinity pool with views of the Hong Kong skyline? Then The Rosewood Hong Kong is your best choice.
The vibe of the pool in this hotel is that of an ultra-luxurious welness retreat, a quiet oasis in the bustling heart of one of the busiest cities on the planet. With 25m the infinity pool is a great spot to get in some laps, with the privilige of skyline views, or take one of the plush loungers and have the very attentive staff look after you.
Where the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong might have the highest swimming pool in the city it sometimes feels a bit sterile. Meanwhile the Rosewood Hong Kong is designed for deep relaxation, restoration and the ultimate luxury escapy from the bustling city below.
Speaking of a luxury escape, an insiders tip for the ultimate luxurious Rosewood experience. Book one of the signature suites and gain access to exclusive private lap pools.
Andaz One Bangkok

Who would have thought that one day you’d get nature views right in the heart of Bangkok? Certainly not me, but the infinity pool of the newly opened Andaz One Bangkok hotel offer exactly that.
At the edge of the Lumphini park you’ll find the pool feels like a lush tranquil oasis in the center of the Thai capital. Leave the busy streets behind and take a dive in a saltwater pool that feels like you’re in the rainforest.
Escape the hot Thai sun by hiring a private cabana where you can relax in the shade after swimming laps and enjoy some fresh coconut water.
If swimming laps is not your style, no worries there is also a 24-hour fitness center contected to the pool with the cardio machines overlooking the Bangkok skyline.
Want direct access from your room into the infinity pool of the Andaz One Bangkokhotel? Book the Poolhouse suite for this privilige.
Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Last but absolutely not least the most famous swimming pool with a view of them all, the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The iconic three towers with a giant swimming pool deck on top.
The Marina Bay Sands pool is only available for guests staying in the hotel, and this is absolutely a big advantage given the popularity of the place and the high room prices. Along the pool side you’ll always find a free seat any time of the day, you will get two towels when you arrive (one is to sit on so don’t be like me and take both), sunscreen is free and the views of the Singapore skyline are amazing.
If you’d rather watch the Gardens by the Bay then take place in one of the hot tubs, or watch the Spectra light show from the pool in the evening with the skyline itself almost glittering like a starry sky.
Oh and did you know it is actually not one giant pool, but instead three smaller pools and two of them are adults only?
