There are series of cases of ‘to be grooms murder’ in India are occupying headlines of mainstream media and social networking site pages.

The ignored issue is, women & men are equally guilty of such felony.

Women killed by the groom and his family,

has been normalized in Indian society.

But after such series of ‘to be groom’ killing by ‘to be bride’ terrifies many eligible bachelors to get married.

Thus, turning a blind eye to the truth that both men and women are liable for these homicides can not solve the problem.

Why and How both men and women are on the same page of taking lives –

• In all these cases where ‘to be bride’ have killed the future groom are supported by the love interest, who has been a man.or the boyfriend.

Essence of these happenings,

The perpetrator young lady supported by men and committing such crime for a man too.

• Ethics and character — India is opening up with high speed to the culture of wife / husband / partner swapping.

Morale of the explanation is, such degrading character and lowering family value culture make offenders to commit atrocities, even kill an innocent person with the mindset that they can get away with it.

• The mothers and other women who are expressing extreme anger and demanding safety of their sons, how many times they did the same when someone else’s daughter killed by husband and in-laws? Some of the in-laws are also women.

Therefore, both men and women conspire to kill another woman or the bride.

• Both male and female judges and advocates, are helping women who are misusing the laws to extract money from the grooms family.

• On the other hand, in most of the cases real victim women leave the criminal man and his family without taking any compensation. Because the legal process in India is long, expensive , in these cases derogatory to the extent of character assassination and harmful lies.

• India celebrates those film actors and actresses who separated from their married partners without any solid reason. Their excuses are, they loose interest in the previous partner and fell for the actor and actresses.

The same also replicated by several average men and women in the society.

The hot gossip of murder of ‘to be groom’ is there both online and off line, replaced by another tattle until one more case takes its place.

Thus, the realization ought to be-

• Both men and women have been equal partners on any bride or grom murder case.

• Restructuring characters with ethics and legitimacy are not innocence or foolish but dire need.

If not, then never expect to reduce the crime and bring quality change in society.
