Hattic language
The Hutts were the discoverers of iron, they lived in central Anatolia during the Bronze Age. They called iron hapalki, which is the first word in the world to refer to this metal. Subsequently, the Hutts were conquered by the Hittites, who adopted their name along with the name of iron. It allowed them to create a great empire, thanks to which the word was fixed in history. The Hutt language is quite interesting, it is a relic of the Bronze Age, it was unwritten, but the Hittites wrote cuneiform on it, thanks to which the Hutt words have come down to us. There are many broken copies about the origin of the Hutts, so let’s give all the versions in order.
Ardzinba’s view
First, let’s say that the Hutt language was polysynthetic-agglutinative. This means that the roots of different words in it merged together, forming one word. And a lot of consoles were put in front of them. This feature is typical for Western Caucasian languages. And that’s right, Hattic has been repeatedly classified as an Abkhaz-Adyghe language.
It has even become a national ideology in Abkhazia. The first president of the republic, Vladislav Ardzinba, was an orientalist and he personally developed the hypothesis of the kinship of Western Caucasians and Hutts. In Abkhazia, it was called migration. And here on the table we can see which common words have been identified. Then there are mythological parallels.
Ancili is the deity of light among the Hutts, compared with Anchva, the god of the Abkhazians. There are several more parallels. Taru is the patron saint of hunters among the Hutts, Aitar among the Abkhazians. Anan is the mother goddess of the Hutts, and Anana is the same goddess among the Abkhazians.
Kasyan
Hettologist Alexey Kasyan expressed a different opinion. In his work, he analyzes the Hutt grammar.
Here’s the text for you, look at what a complex structure, prefixes before the word take, possessive before the word dress, possessive and plural before the word skin. This is the structure in all sentences. It is also known that the Hittite script does not convey sounds well, because the Hattic language was guttural.
Kasyan adheres to the Sino-Caucasian hypothesis, within the framework of which he brings together Hattic with the Yenisei languages. They are highlighted at the top of the plaque, and the Huttic language should have been located next to them.
Although it is barely visible here, he is writing a paper on this topic.
In some places it does not exist at all, but there are North Caucasian examples, and of the North Caucasian languages, it best matches the East Caucasian or Nakh-Dagestanian languages.
The Hutt word for heart is considered here, and it does not look like other words from the list of languages. In general, Kasyan makes an attempt to compare Hattic with Yenisei, but it looks extremely unconvincing. As you can see, there are few parallels here. In addition, the Hatto-Yeniseians have no mythological parallels, they are culturally divided.
Conclusions
The Hattic language shows similarities with the North Caucasian languages, both Western and eastern. Obviously, he is related to them as another family in this large macro-Caucasian superfamily or an early separated branch.

Looking at the pronouns, we see common pronouns on the left side of the list. On the right side, the ancestral pronouns that were originally there will also be similar. This is the large superfamily of Caucasian languages that looms here. Subscribe to the channel.
