This image is a digital painting in Pop style that I made recently. Summer colors. And inspiration with the 4th of July.
It is part of my new experiment with …
Pop Art is an art movement that began in the 1950s and became famous in the 1960s.
It uses images from everyday life, advertising, comic books, celebrity culture, and consumer products to turn popular culture into art.
What it means
The word “Pop” refers to popular culture, so Pop Art looks at things people saw all around them in mass media and modern life.
Artists often used bold colors, repeated images, and a clean, graphic style that resembled printing or advertising.
Main ideas
Pop Art often celebrated ordinary objects like soup cans, road signs, and product packaging, but it could also be ironic or critical of consumer culture.
It grew partly as a reaction against the serious, emotional style of Abstract Expressionism, which many younger artists felt was too distant from daily life.
This is an animation I made with my digital painting.

Famous artists
Some of the best-known Pop artists are Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Richard Hamilton.
Warhol became famous for repeating images of celebrities and products, while Lichtenstein drew on comic strips and bold graphic outlines.
In one sentence:
Pop Art is art inspired by mass culture, using familiar images from everyday life to make art feel modern, accessible, and sometimes playful or ironic.
Thank you!!
