Why I Chose to Work in Bangladesh Real Estate

There was no single clear reason that led me to Bangladesh.

However, after coming here and seeing the situation on the ground, I began to notice something.

Compared to Japan, there are clear differences in systems, processes, and how business is conducted.

At first glance, many things may seem unstructured, and there are certainly risks.

At the same time, this lack of maturity can also represent opportunity.

Because not everything is fully developed, there is room to create value.

This was one of the most important realizations for me.

■Why I Saw Opportunity

Bangladesh, especially Dhaka, continues to grow through population increase and rapid urbanization.

There is clear demand for housing, while the supply of quality housing is still not sufficient.

Within this imbalance, I saw a realistic business opportunity.

Of course, being involved in actual projects is not easy.

Delays, coordination challenges, and differences in environment are all part of the process.

However, despite these challenges, I have come to see that this is a market where real business can be built.

Today, I view this not simply as an investment, but as a business.

Rather than focusing only on short-term returns, I approach it with a medium- to long-term perspective.

Working together with local partners, I am involved in projects step by step.
