Garden Grown has been on the market for a while now . Why did you decide to choose fashion designing as a career?

I’ve been creating designs since a young kid. Had to be around 5th or 6th when I started drawing my own apparel.

What according to you is a favorite part of being a fashion designer?

Networking and connecting with other people. Whether it’s those that become fans of the creativity or other creative minds.

What skills to you, are necessary for a successful fashion designer?

Imagination and drive

What do you think about work ethics and what kind of ethics you believe in following while working with your clothing brand ?

If you don’t stand for good, then you can’t expect to have a good brand. I believe in good customer service and delivering every time in a timely fashion.

What is your favorite design of which you created ?

Oooh…. that’s tough! My favorite elaborate design is the Taylored Ham design. Then of course the GG Logo itself because it’s original.

What is your creative process like ?

It’s hard to answer that because it comes outta nowhere. When it hits tho, I’m either grabbing a pair of scissors and cutting something or firing out new designs. Usually there’s music playing during the process too.

Other than yourself who’s your favorite brand/designer ?

A lot of my inspiration came from brands like Phat Farm, True Religion, FUBU.

What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?

My greatest strength: my work ethic My weakness: the tendency to be too laid-back

How would you describe your personal style?

On a day to day, urban/casual.

Where do you see your brand in the next 10 years

Being totally local and global.
