Suzuki introduces Gixxer with ABS

135kg, 14bhp, 14nm, and now ABS. Sweet!

Suzuki Motorcycles India has launched the Gixxer with ABS. Originally launched in 2014, the bike has held its own with minor updates through its life, holding its own against the increasingly unwieldy Yamaha FZ series.

The Gixxer ABS offers sporty features like twin exhausts, three-spoke light wheels and a stepped seat. Other features include an AHO headlight, full digital speedometer, LED tail lamps, fully digital speedometer and front and rear disc brakes. Also, the beefy forks make the motorcycle look purposeful.

The motorcycle is the lightest 150cc motorcycle you can buy today in the market, with just 135kgs wet. It comes with an all-aluminum 4-stroke single cylinder 155cc engine which produces 14bhp and 14nm of torque. It offers SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology which the company claims provides powerful performance without compromising on fuel efficiency. The engine is also equipped with Suzuki Jet Cooling System (SJCS) for claimed better engine cooling and enhanced power and mileage.

The new Suzuki Gixxer ABS will be available in three colours — Metallic Triton Blue/Glass Sparkle Black, Candy Sonoma Red/Metallic Sonic Silver and Glass Sparkle Black; and a starting price of Rs 87,250 (ex-showroom Delhi).
