Spotify Wrapped 2025 officially dropped this Wednesday (3/12/2025), bringing new interesting stats for users to look at. Starting out as “Year in Music” in 2015, Wrapped offers listeners a look-back into their listening habits from the past year. Ever since, it has been an irreplaceable part of the app, generating a lot of excitement when December comes along — like an early Christmas present!

Each year, Wrapped presents listeners’ listening stats in unique and creative ways, like last year’s AI-powered Music Evolution and 2023’s Sound Town. This year, Spotify once again comes back with new features including the highly-discussed Listening Age, which tells users how old their music taste makes them; and Clubs, which sorts listeners to specific groups based on the music they’ve listened to.

In 2024, Spotify earned some criticism regarding the use of AI in compiling their 2024 Wrapped report. Dustee Jenkins, Spotify’s chief public affairs officer, welcomed the criticism, noting that they only remind the team behind Wrapped how much the yearly report means to listeners. USA Today reports that this year’s Wrapped was painstakingly compiled for months by a dedicated team behind the scenes and uses little to no AI, save for one feature.

To make the presentation just as unique as the past years’, Spotify decides to model Wrapped’s look on the retro vibes of old-school music sharing, embracing “the world of mixtape culture.”

Can’t find your stats? Try updating your app first. Once you do, open Spotify and find the Wrapped banner on your homepage. It should highlight itself using a dynamic white outline. Click on that and voilà — you can access your 2025 report!

• Listening Age. This feature calculates your listening age based on the music you listened to in the past year. Note that listening to some oldies might add an extra 10 years to your listening age…
• Clubs. This year, you’ll be sported into one of six Clubs, each representing a unique listening style just as unique as their listeners. Six Clubs, six styles — which one do you think you’ll be sorted in?
• Listening Archive. Get personalized snapshots of your most memorable streaming days! This feature is powered by AI, delivering up to five unique reports based on your daily listening.
• Wrapped Party. Want to compare your stats with your friends without having to send screenshots to each other? Don’t fret! This new feature allows you to start a Party and share codes with each other.
• Top Song Quiz. Instead of serving your top 5 songs in one slide, this year Spotify lets you guess, pop quiz style!
• Top Albums. For the first time, Spotify highlights the no. 1 album you always come back to. Talk about loyal!
• Top Audiobook Genre. To the avid audiobook listeners, this year’s Wrapped highlights your top audiobook genre and the book you listened to the most from that genre.
• Your Author Clip. Aside from genre, this year’s Wrapped also includes messages from your favorite audiobook authors. How exciting is that?!
• Your Podcaster Clip. Let’s not forget podcasters! This year’s Wrapped also includes messages from your favorite podcast creators.
• Top Artist Sprint. Another classic feature that got an upgrade is Top Artist. This time around, instead of only seeing the ranking, you get to watch your top artists sprint for the number-one spot. This race visualizes how your top five artists shifted in your personal rankings each month.
