Hello, 29.
I know it’s not just a number. But still, I believe that age is just that — an abstract count. Because really, we never know what we’ll become in the future, and age should never be the sole measure of how far we’ve come — or how full our savings should be.
This year, a quiet wish I once made — with careful thoughts and hopeful forecasts — finally took flight. I went on a solo trip to Thailand. Wandering through unfamiliar streets, with only my camera and curiosity, I found joy in stillness, beauty in every corner, and a sense of wholeness I didn’t know I needed. It felt like life… fully recharged. :)
On June 7th, 2025, I turned another year older. I’m entering the last chapter of my twenties, yet somehow, I still feel like I’m 25. Maybe I’m just playfully denying the idea of growing older. But lately, my mind’s been crowded with worries. About love — why does it feel like it’s taking forever to arrive? Maybe because Chris Evans still doesn’t know I exist. Haha. :(
Success, though… that word has many faces. And I’ve come to realize that becoming a better version of myself than I was yesterday is already a form of success. And that’s enough. Still, I never stop learning — from inspiring people around me and even from those far away.
As for hobbies, I’m grateful — strangely — to an ex. His leaving shattered me in ways I never expected. But from that pain, I found something new: running. At first, I ran to escape, to burn memories, to silence everything. But somehow, it became something I truly love. I hope it stays with me, even as I grow older.
And then there’s my career. This one’s a little harder to tell. Recently, I felt deeply disappointed in myself. I knew better — but I still let myself be taken advantage of. Maybe it’s because I often find it hard to say no, even to people I barely know. And now, I may have to walk away from a job I’ve been part of for nearly 10 years.
Someone said to me, “Do you know the butterfly effect? Even the weakest flap of a butterfly’s wings can trigger something far greater. Just like you — one piece of information you thought didn’t matter may have been the final puzzle piece someone else needed.” That hit me hard. I was reminded how every word that leaves my mouth holds weight — whether good or bad.
I’ve always identified as an extrovert. I love sharing. But sometimes, I wonder if I share too much. On the flip side, when I try to retreat and be quiet, I realize I still need a space to release what I’m feeling — so I don’t break from the inside.
After all that’s happened, I’ve promised myself one thing: To be more mindful of the words I share. To stay kind. To keep growing.
And finally — but never the end — thank you to my family and friends who love me without conditions. I’ll keep trying to be a good person. I love you all❤
