Unlocking the Secret to Endless Ideas: How Lincoln & Carnegie Inspired my Writing Methods & Skyrocketed my Productivity

Writer’s block is a pain in the neck for anyone who has ever tried to write.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned pro or a newbie; it can strike at any time….
But, what if I told you that there’s a little-known trick that can help you overcome writer’s block… and always have a flow of ideas to write about?

Abe Lincoln
I learned this trick from Abe Lincoln & Dale Carnegie…
They would take notes on scraps of paper and save them for later….
Abe would often refer to his “bones” and sometimes he kept a stack under his hat on his head.
I do something similar with post-notes…
Periodically, I go through the basket of sticky notes and start categorizing them to use for ideas to write…
Unlocking this secret enabled me to always have a flow of ideas to write about, and it’s a technique that has helped me immensely…
I’ll share with you how this technique can help you overcome writer’s block & you’ll always have a flow of ideas to write about…
Yes, I used to feel like an idiot because I worked with open-ended time frames….
The work would feel endless and hard to have structure…
Then one day, I stumbled upon a few time management books and a guru who completely changed my game…. but that’s another story.

Dale Carnegie
And, by the way, I have a library of books you can easily find to help you become the best entrepreneur and marketer in your field! (Just ask me for more info.)
anyway…
You best take notes whenever inspiration strikes…
Otherwise you’ll forget stuff and lose that million dollar idea…
You never know when a great idea will come to you…so always be ready to capture it.
I use post-notes because they’re small & super easy to carry around in a coat pocket or in the butt pocket of my jeans.
Plus, those sticky notes usually come in a variety of colors, which makes it even easier to categorize your ideas…

Whenever I have an idea, I write it down on a post-note and stick it in the basket by my kitchen table.
The next thing you really wanna do is to periodically go through your basket of post-notes and categorize them.
You can categorize them by topic, theme, or any other way that makes sense to you…
Once you have them categorized, it’s easy to find ideas when you’re stuck.
Use a timer.
Set a timer for 33 minutes and write as much as you can during that time…
When the timer goes off, take a five-minute break… (go do something fun and relaxing-but don’t get too comfortable… there’s more work to do!!)
;)
Repeat this process as many times as you need to get your writing done.
This technique is called the Pomodoro Technique…. and it’s a great way to manage your time and stay productive.
I once heard a story about an entrepreneur who saved his business by using a timer.
He had a lot of work to do and never seemed to have enough time.
Then he started using a timer and found that he was able to get more done in less time.
He was able to save his business because he was able to be more productive.
In conclusion, writer’s block can be frustrating, but it doesn’t have to be..
By taking notes,…
categorizing them…
and using a timer…
you can overcome writer’s block…
and always have a flow of ideas to write about..
If you’re struggling with writer’s block or time management, I’m available to help out with other’s productivity issues.
I can also recommend a few books…even a small library of books, that can help!
And, I’ll keep you in the loop on the book I’m about to release… as I also give away tips, tricks, and secrets about business in 2023 and copywriting hacks.
