Breath of Circle — Temperature

Deep underground, there are places that feel like origins — sites where life could begin.

I tried to build a space from layers of diluted ink, and to let a warm breath be felt within it.

The human body holds at 36°C ～37°C— neither above nor below. That temperature sets cells to work. A temperature for working.

Hydrothermal vents in the deep sea are the Earth exhaling from within.

Let’s listen closely to the planet’s breath.

The photographs are traces of time moving toward completion. I carved

the path of that breathing — ink layering upon ink — into them.
