Holidays? Where?

I don’t have any holidays lined up

July 13: July is a time for holidays. Are you going anywhere this month? If so, where? Have you been there before? If so, why are you going back? (Sondra Singer — Still Vital)

Oh, Sondra Singer - Still Vital, if I could, I would.

I have no plans for this month — no holiday plans, I should say. I recently changed up my life and decided to become a student again and take on too many freelancing roles.

Apart from that, no plans.

I used to plan overseas trips in July — it’s winter in New Zealand, so the perfect time to get out and go somewhere warmer.

I would love to jump on a plane and head somewhere warm, although it’s quite lovely and sunny here today.

If I had to return to somewhere I’ve been before, I think I would go to Australia. I have family there (classic!) and I love all the strange animals that live over there. I also love the warm weather and blue skies.

There’s so much of that country I haven’t explored and I would love to see it all.

I’ve also been to Bali and I would love to explore more of Indonesia.

I desperately want to go back to Europe and visit my friends.

And Canada. For the same reason.

And South America because I’ve never been there before.

Okay, I must stop this story now as I must go and buy a plane ticket.
