A Budget-Ish PSU That Gets the Job Done

I’ve been using the MAH A500N-H 500W power supply for a while now, it’s honestly a very good option. It’s a basic 500W unit with a standard efficiency rating, but it performs good enough.

What I liked:

Stable power delivery: No random shutdowns or voltage drops (so far). My mid-range setup (GTX 1660 Super) runs perfectly.

Quiet:

The fan noise is minimal, even when the system is under load, wouldnt care if its loud anyways.

Good build quality but i’d say its little over-priced:

The casing feels solid, and the cables are decent not too stiff, not too cheap.

Price:

the price is little too high 105–109DT (in tunisia) for an entry lvl pcu with standards efficiency is a bit much, 80–85DT would have been perfect

Enough power for standard builds:

If you’re running a typical gaming PC with a low/mid-range GPU and a standard CPU, this PSU handles it without any issues.

Things to keep in mind:

It’s not a high-end unit, so don’t expect premium features like modular cables or Gold/Platinum efficiency.

Not recommended for high-power GPUs like RTX 3050 or anything that demands very high efficiency.

Final Verdict :

The MAH A500N-H 500W is a solid and dependable power supply for budget and low/mid-range gaming builds. It delivers stable performance, stays quiet, and offers decent build quality for an entry-level unit. While the price is slightly higher than what it should be for a standard-efficiency PSU, it still does its job reliably and without issues. If you need a straightforward, no-nonsense 500W PSU for a GTX 1660 Super level system, this one is a safe and practical choice just not the best in terms of price-to-value.
