Are Align Lululemon Leggings Worth it?

The 25' inseam Lululemon leggings are found on every teen and adult that can get their hands on a pair, but are they worth it? I have five pairs, but the more I wear them, I more I realize the flaws. I have been a supporter of Lululemon leggings for three years now and have tried many styles, making me a qualified judge, in my opinion. For reference, I am 6'0" and wear a size 4 comfortably; I have room to grow. I have done everything in these pants, from working out to sleep. In this piece, I am going to dive into the strengths and flaws of these leggings.

First off, they retail for 98 dollars and have a wide range of colors, lengths, and sizes. The models shown on the website for these leggings are size-inclusive and offer a range of sizes. This is the first strength for the Align Leggings. Secondly, they are so soft, giving you the illusion you might not even be wearing pants. I find myself double-checking I am wearing pants throughout the day when wearing these leggings. The Align Leggings are high waisted, which helps keep my stomach looking slim after eating a plate of cookies. The seams on the pant’s main leg are on the inner thigh, which makes them look more seamless. I tend to prefer my leggings to end a little above my ankle for the perfect socks leggings gap. These leggings are perfect for that. I love these leggings a lot, but nothing is without its flaws.

In my opinion, running in these leggings is not ideal, and this is why I think so. They are a very soft material and water, sweat, stays on the material, leaving it visibly wet. They can also fall down sometimes because no elastic waistband or anything is holding them up. Other Lululemon leggings such as the Fast and Free Tight 11 25" are a better option if you are looking for running specific leggings. This leads to another flaw in the Align Leggings; there are only tiny pockets barely big enough to fit a folded dollar bill. This could also be seen as a positive because it makes them look more seamless, but I love a good pocket. Align Leggings can also pill, which is when they look a little bumpy. I have never personally experienced this in my Aligns, but I also do not put them in the dryer, so that might be why.

In conclusion, if you are looking for a pair of leggings for everyday wear, I recommend them thoroughly. Every legging has its flaws, but I find myself reaching to Aligns over my other Lululemon’s often. I think that everyone should try a pair of Align leggings at least once in their life even if they do not buy them. Align Leggings are amazing, but there are great dupes and other brands out there as well with a less harsh price tag. Finally, if you are debating between these and Wunder Under’s, please buy Aligns. Align Leggings are like the hot older sibling to Wunder Unders.
