A few days ago, Pakistan witnessed a heartbreaking incident. A young female doctor was attacked with acid while performing her duty at the hospital. She had spent years of her life studying, training,g and helping patients. Yet in a place where people come to heal and be treated, she became the one who was hurt.

This was not just the attack on one woman. It was an attack on every girl and woman who is dreaming of becoming a doctor, teacher, or any other profession.

This accident raised a very important question:

If women are not safe in hospitals, workplaces, or public places, where are they safe?

Acid attacks leave more than physical scars. They affect mental health. They affect confidence. They affect the future of the victim. The pain lasts much longer than the moment of the attack.

As a society, we often react with anger after incidents. We post on social media, share our opinions, and demand justice. However, the real change occurs when we prioritize prevention, respect, and safety before another tragedy happens.

Women should have to choose or compromise between their dreams and their safety.
