For the past five months, I’ve been in VRChat almost every single day, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. But I’ve been wondering… what does VRChat truly mean to me?

The Existence Known as VRChat

VRChat has become a completely normal part of my life. It’s a world I can dive into anytime, day or night, just by putting on my VR goggles.

A world where time and physical location don’t matter… isn’t that incredible? I don’t think there are many places where you can just be, without any special purpose or reason, and not question it at all.

Even with your best friends, you don’t necessarily see them every single day unless you’re at school or something, right? But here, without making any plans, we can just casually meet up every night, talk, and then meet again the next day like it’s totally normal. A space like that is just wonderful, isn’t it?

Back when I was a beginner who had just landed in this world, I met people I could talk to almost every day. I’m just so, so grateful to all the friends who hang out with me right now!!!

Thank you all so much, always! I hope we can keep hanging out like this!

It’s a place where we can be together naturally, without needing anything specific from each other. I really, really love this world!

I don’t know what the future holds or what this world will become, but I know this: I am here. I am living, right here, right now, in this world.

But no matter how vast this world is, it’s connected. It’s a world where you can always run into someone new.

It’s a world where I can express myself, and where everyone else can express themselves, too. Yet, it’s not a closed-off world; it’s open. It’s a world that has the potential to connect with any environment.

Whether that outside world keeps spinning or not… This is the place where I belong.
