The First NOTIS Flow Wrapping Machine Continues Operating After 21 Years

On October 31, 2025, the company received a request from a Moscow-based enterprise — the new owner of the MGU-NOTIS-01 flow wrapping machine needed an operating manual. Serial number on the nameplate: 001. This is the very first machine of this series, assembled in 2004.

Where the MGU Series Began

A year ago, we mentioned it in our article about the features of NOTIS flow wrapping machines. We were the first in Russia to manufacture flow wrapping machines with independent drives — specifically to ensure maximum reliability. In single-motor analogues, mechanical elements often fail: chains, sprockets, couplings. Thanks to our own electronics and unique control algorithms, the MGU-NOTIS-01 operated on independent electric drives with the precision of expensive servo drives. This was an engineering breakthrough at a time when servo drives were significantly more expensive.
