DESCENT

The place on the picture is the geographical center of Czech Republic.

You can find it i a small village that is associated with the violend death of Josef Toufar, priest, beaten to death by communist police, during the existence of CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALIST REPUBLIC.

It is hidden behind small buildings, in the corner of the field

Next to it a small shed with hidden VISITORS BOOK containing detailed information on how the exact spot was calculated

The pyramid on the top indicates the exact cardinal points

It indicates something more to me

The peak to which many look to as the target or aim of career and existence

We are being tought from the very young age that we should climb and ascent to reach the top faster than the others, but in every lesson few important information are missing

• on the top is frequently place just for one or few
• we need to descent to survive
• descent may be harder then the ascent

DESCENT seems to be hidden on purpose

It does not sound so sexy

The term has multiple meanings according to vocabulary and it is being associated with the meaning differently

It is so interesting that I choose the term to be the next topic for the INDUSTRY 5.0 POWER OF TOUCH and INDUSTRY 5.0 WASTELESS WORLD TALKS

Once again, the discussion surprised not only me, but my friends as well

Why the society treats DESCENT same as DEGROWTH?

I think the reason is the same

FEAR OF CHANGE

Of change that exists and it is omnipresent in nature

As a small boy I was tought by my new father how to climb

It was great, climbing to the sky to reach the top and peak

but nobody told me I need to descent

It was so high and I was scared

My Dad told me at that moment that without DESCENT I will not be able to CLIMB again and he show me the way and technique how climbers descent called abseiling.

First abseiling moment was scary, because you jump into open space, but once after you learn it, it is great and easy

As a society and as HUMANS we have to learn that

GROWTH without DEGROWTH does not work in life

ASCENT without DESCENT means frequently the end of ability to ascent again

There are terms that should be “kept” secret this is why they are being systematically linked to negative feelings
