Is it possible to stay productive during the Corona pandemic?

On this day there was a UMKM bazaar held in Sumedang (16/10) this activity was carried out by the regent of Sumedang Dony Ahmad Munir to the community to conduct micro, small and medium enterprises or UMKM. “With this activity, it is hoped that the community can be more productive during the Corona pandemic,” said Mushab, a student from UNSAP who participated in the activity. This activity has started in November 2020 until now in October 2021, the UMKM bazaar takes place at 10.00–17.00 WIB. This business is spread throughout the Sumedang area, one of which is in the Cimalaka sub-district, there are 3 places that are sold for UMKM facilities, namely Infantry Battalion 301, Cipanteneun and Mandala.

This activity was carried out to advance the economic wheel in Sumedang, since the Corona pandemic economic activity has decreased plus there was a Lockdown program so that the community was prevented from being productive after this pandemic was successfully appeased, the government implemented a program to enforce restrictions on community activities (PPKM) so that the economy could continue to run smoothly provisions comply with health protocols.

The people of Sumedang are happy with this activity according to Mushab, this activity is very helpful for the economy, there are several kinds that are traded in this UMKM activity such as food, snacks, drinks, souvenirs and so on. In this activity of course, both sellers and buyers must be able to keep their distance from each other to avoid the Corona virus, besides that they are required to wear masks and Hand Sanitizers to maintain cleanliness and health. With this activity and complying with the health protocol, it is hoped that the people of Sumedang will be able to re-promote the economy and be able to avoid the Corona virus.
