How can you tell if you’re headed in the right direction in life?

If someone had asked me back in 10th grade, or even at the start of 12th, what my plans for college were, BBA would have never been part of the answer. In fact, I was sure I would pursue something entirely different. But life has a funny way of unfolding, and looking back, I realize that I’ve always gone with the flow rather than sticking to a rigid plan. This approach has worked for me because I’ve trusted my conscience to guide me toward what feels right. And here I am today, pursuing a BBA at Christ University — a decision that has turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever made.
When I first started thinking about college, I never imagined I would end up studying business. But as the months passed, life led me down this path, and Christ University welcomed me in. It wasn’t part of the “plan” because, frankly, there wasn’t much of one. I’ve never been someone who mapped out every detail of my future. Instead, I’ve always believed in doing what felt good for my conscience, trusting that things would work out. And they have. More than I could have imagined.
If I weren’t at Christ University, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. The experiences I’ve had here — the academic challenges, the friendships, the environment of Lavasa — have shaped me in ways I couldn’t have foreseen. It’s a place that has given me so much more than just an education. It’s given me perspective, growth, and a sense of belonging. The opportunities, the vibrant campus life, and the incredible people I’ve met have all played a part in my journey.
I didn’t choose Christ University because of some grand, calculated decision. I chose it because it felt right. And looking back, I can confidently say that it was the best choice I could have made. Had I stuck to the expectations I had in high school, I wouldn’t have experienced this personal growth. Sometimes, life is about trusting the flow, following your instincts, and letting go of the need to control every step.
In the end, the best decisions aren’t always the ones you plan. They’re the ones that feel true to who you are and what you need at that moment. Christ University has been just that for me — a place that feels right and has helped me grow into the person I am today.
