CES 2026 Recap: LightIC Technologies FMCW LiDAR road testing

We built LARK for real deployment constraints: motion, vibration, complex scenes, and repeatable data quality. This clip (captured during CES 2026 road testing in Las Vegas) shows a few concrete examples:

  • Scenario 1 — Sudden door opening: FMCW velocity sensing picks up subtle early limb/foot motion before the full door event, highlighting dynamic velocity changes where distance-only point clouds can miss cues.
  • Scenario 2 — On-road perception: real-time separation of dynamic vs. static targets without blooming, helping maintain clean detection even around highly reflective roadside posts and low-profile road studs.
  • Scenario 3 — Road debris detection: 600-line image-level resolution enabling stable detection of ~20 cm objects out to ~180 m (e.g., a 30×25 cm box at ~185 m, and a smaller 16×8 cm box at ~115 m).
