525,600 minutes
In the last 525,600 minutes, 525,600 moments so dear, I have successfully navigated three major pivots and managed countless crises. Yet, standing here today on my Birthday, the entire year feels like a three-second montage from a frantic action movie.

Packing your schedule with “meaningful” events actually erodes your sense of time. The more we do without pausing to integrate the experience, the more we feel like we are living on 2x speed. Our brains stop marking the passage of time when every moment is an urgent reaction.
We treat our lives like digital storage, assuming we can just upload data and deal with it later. However, the human brain requires deliberate idle time to turn events into identity. Technology has accelerated our input, but our biology remains stubbornly slow at processing. This creates a state where we are functionally rich in events but spiritually bankrupt in experience.
The risk is becoming a ghost in your own biography. Years feel like they are disappearing because there is no mental friction to slow them down. You must claim your minutes back from the cult of productivity. Real growth happens in the quiet gaps between the noise.
Yours truly,
Irina
