How to Use the Diagnostic Mode?

Yes, the waiting is over! Our powerful “Diagnostic Mode” is now LIVE! You can enable it by updating both the app and the firmware to the latest versions. The “Diagnostic Mode” enables SkyXers who encounter problems to more efficiently identify and report issues.

How to enable it?

The diagnostic mode can be accessed through the SkyX App in 3 paths.

Path 1: On the “Devices” page, click “Device diagnosis”. Please note that both the app (2.0.14) and the firmware need to be updated to the latest version.

Path 2: When there is a problem during “Onboarding”, click “Help” on the pop—up window to enter the diagnostic mode.

Path 3: Click the blue button on the following page to enter the diagnostic mode.

How Does the Diagnostic Mode Work?

First of all, before starting the diagnosis, make sure to:

1. Keep the device in your usual position.
2. Keep your phone close to the device.
3. Ensure the network connection is stable.

And then, during the diagnosis, please ensure that:

1. Connecting to the device.
2. Diagnosing device status.
3. Keep the device nearby.

Finally, you just wait for the final diagnosis results, which might be:

1. Errors (if any): Critical issues that need immediate attention.
2. Warnings (if any): Potential issues that should be monitored.
3. Information: General status and updates.
4. Contact information for customer support.
