Six days to find one shirt.

One shirt, you hear me? My brother’s.

Yeah, the one he ordered for his wedding.

Yes, it’s the one I spilled ketchup on.

What do you mean? It was Mitchell’s ketchup! The shirt should be grateful.

Yeah, no, I remembered to send it to the dhobi… the laundry guy, you know. He comes over every Wednesday. I THINK he brought it back, but if he did, I can’t remember where I kept it.

Wait, did I accidentally give it to the sabzi wala? He delivers onions and tomatoes every day…

Or, come to think of it, the doodh wala delivers milk every morning... Aaahhhh!

Ok, you know what? I’ll ask all of them tomorrow. Sounds good? Yeah, I’ll let you know.

But you know what, Sara? I was also taking out old clothes to give the maid and the cook. You think it got mixed up in those piles? I really can’t ask them.

And what if I Bykea’d it to his house already… I did send a pre-wedding parcel or two. But if I ask him and it isn’t there… What will I say?

Sara… you even listening to me? Any of these 6 people could have it. You see?

And I have 6 days to find it. His wedding’s on Sunday. Sunday, get it?

So that’s 6 X 6 = 36 kinds of hell I could go through, multiply that by the random coefficient of torture, and… yeah.

I’m in trouble. The kind that needs special help.

What do you mean, it’s JUST A SHIRT?

Yeah, no, you wouldn’t understand.

No, I didn’t check the cupboard where we keep new and ironed clothes. Why should I?

Oh.

Ohhh.
