Pivot Column:
Pivot means turning Name,Values row into the columns.
e.g.

First I have loading the CSV file data into our Power Bi desktop application See the data below:

I have create Month column as Pivot Column.See the following steps to creating pivot column in power bi application:
First go to the Edit Query menu

Then select Data Source and select column which has create pivot column. In this article i have select month column as pivot column and click on Transform menu.

Now i have select pivot column option and Users column select as a values column and Click on OK.


See the pivot column Structure.

See the report section i have select month then it in pivot Format.

Unpivot Column:
Unpivot means turning Attributes,Values columns into the rows.
E.g.

I have create Month column as Unpivot Column.See the following steps to creating Unpivot column in power bi application:
First go to the Edit Query menu

Then select Data Source and select all months column to create Unpivot column.

Now i have select unpivot column option.

See the report section i have select month then it in Unpivot Format and also rename the Attribute and value columns to Month and Users.
