I Haven’t Been Writing, But I Haven’t Been Idle…

So, what have I been up to?

Firstly, planning parts of my six-week getaway adventure. I leave in less than two weeks! Knowing it is the height of the tourist season in Dubai, and being in a foreign country alone, I wanted to study the city and book some activities to ensure I didn’t turtle and not go out at all!

I’ve also been reading books. I finished this one 👇 in a few hours as it was such a riveting read. I’m delighted that the author is Canadian and has several other thrillers published.

At night, I’m glued to the The Handmaid’s Tale, a series based on the book by another Canadian, Margaret Atwood. It’s disturbing — more so given today’s political shinannigans.

While watching, I’m stitching the decoration in the lead picture and this New Zealand design below.

It’s been a welcome change.
