REVIEW: Biore Cleansing Oil Make Up Remover

As owners of oily, acne prone, and sensitive skin types, we definitely have difficulty finding the right skincare products so that they don’t cause new problems, don’t you think? One of the most important skincare routines is the first cleanser. Is anyone still having trouble finding the right first cleanser? By the way, I’ve tried one of the recommended first cleansers to try, namely cleansing oil from Biore!

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Biore is a skincare brand from Japan that has so many products that have been spread in almost every Indonesian drugstore. One of the well-known Biore products is cleansing oil, namely Biore Cleansing Oil Make Up Remover which is an oil based facial cleansing product. As we know, especially for those who use make-up on a daily basis, using facial wash only will not be enough to remove dirt on the face, because facial wash is only able to clean the surface, so it is possible that the pores will be clogged by dirt that has not been lifted to the maximum. Using cleansing oil as a first cleanser is one of the right steps to clean all the rest of the sunscreen, foundation, powder, blush, lipstick, and so on, so that it can be lifted perfectly from the skin pores.

Biore Cleansing Oil Make Up Remover does not cause irritation to the skin, is practical, and can be used for all skin types. In addition, there are other benefits that are provided according to their claims, namely:

PACKAGING

HOW TO USE

1. Dispense cleansing oil into the palm of the hand.

2. Apply to the face and neck area.

3. Do massage slowly and thoroughly.

4. Add a little water to your palms and apply to the face and neck area until the oil dissolves with the water.

5. Massage again the face until the neck slowly.

6. Rinse face and neck with water until clean.

7. Use facial wash and proceed to the next skincare step.

Mineral Oil, Peg-12 Laurate, Isododecane, Isopropyl Palmitate, Water, Polyglyceryl-2 Isostearate, Decyl Glucoside, Polysorbate 85, Glyceryl Oleate, Isostearic Acid, Isostearyl Glyceryl Ether, Myristyl Alcohol, Isostearyl Glyceryl Pentaerythrityl Ether, Citric Acid, Fragrance.

Maybe some of you are familiar with mineral oil because it is one of the ingredients that should be avoided by owners of oily skin. However, even though it contains mineral oil, the cleansing oil from Biore does not cause any problems for my skin, it can actually remove all makeup even the waterproof ones, as its claim.

TEXTURE AND SCENT

Biore Cleansing Oil Make Up Remover has a slightly thick texture and when you apply it to your hands and face, you will feel the oil texture. However, it does not leave a sticky impression. The scent is not overpowering even almost does not have an odor considering that the fragrance written on the ingredients is in the second last position.

REVIEW

Honestly, Biore Cleansing Oil Make Up Remover is my first cleansing oil. At first, I was doubt because I have oily, acne prone, and sensitive skin. However, I finally decided to give it a try because after gathering a lot of information, I felt that cleansing oil was more effective and efficient as a first cleanser. We do not need to use cotton to clean the face.

Once it fits, I do not know how many bottles I have repurchased. Especially for the 150ml size, the price is quite affordable, which is under IDR 100K. I bought it on e-commerce, in one of the official stores. If it’s on discount, the price can be around IDR 80K. Pretty good, right?

As stated in the ingredients, cleansing oil from Biore contains mineral oil. However, I do not have any complaints after a few tries. I felt the dirt on my face lifted well. I usually use 3 pumps when I put on make up and 1–2 pumps when I only use sunscreen. Unfortunately, I have also read that some of the owners of oily, acne prone, and sensitive skin are not compatible with Biore Cleansing Oil Make Up Remover. Well, everything really goes back to the suitability of each skin. Even so, don’t hesitate to try this cleansing oil. It’s worth to try and recommended!
