Always Capitalize “Earth” and “Nature”
In this Book of Essays, The words “Earth” and “Nature” are always be capitalized… because they deserve to be!
Germans capitalize the word “Germany.” Since all humans live on the Earth, we should capitalize the word “Earth.”
It requires the entire Earth (lands, seas, atmosphere, ecosystem) to sustain each human on Earth (including all Germans). Therefore, the word “Earth” deserves to be capitalized more than the word “Germany.” We always capitalize Mercury, Venus, Mars, and the other planets; so we need to capitalize Earth, which is more important to us than all the other planets.
How about when “Earth” is used to mean “Dirt, Soil, Ground, or Dust.” Since plants and animals (including humans) are composed of this, and get sustenance from it and they live, we may choose to capitalize them as well.
