Olema Pharmaceuticals Inc Denies Data Leak, puts woman with cancer at risk
Olema Pharmaceuticals was preparing to present the first clinical data from its lead program in development for metastatic breast cancer at a conference next week, but instead had a huge data leak on Monday.
In response, Olema issued a statement saying the image was falsified and published results. The people must have perceived this as a lie, as the cover up clearly went south as signaled by their publicly traded shares dropping 60% to $8.61 on Tuesday.
Although there is not much evidence, there is still some, and what this shows is that many have been affected by Olema’s data leak, and they deserve to know this.
If Olema denies and wont notify the affected woman so they can protect themselves, I will.
