Tinubu’s Danfo

You know how they say there are only two sane people in Lagos. Earlier last week, I realized that sadly I am not part of those two. I entered into this long coaster bus on my way home and as usual the conductor went about making his collections “Your money please” he said. Of course I am two rows into the back and can’t reach the conductor. I tap on this woman who I believe should have helped me cause I mean from the back of her head she looked like she was gentle.

I go ahead to tap her and she ignores me, I say please Ma and still she ignores me. No wahala, the man beside her takes the money and passes it to the conductor and of course I’m grateful. Lo and behold the devil decides to use this woman. She wants to catch a quick nap as I see her yawn and place her head on the window.

Omo I did not even let her sleep sink in I dragged the window and her head almost ran off her neck, she turns back looks at me. For my mind I dey burst laugh. She goes “why? wetin happen?” I’m there with my baby face saying sorry and I wanted to adjust it cause of the breeze. Lwkmd werey no fit do anything, she probably saw the evil I had planned for her if she tried sleeping again. She was awake till she got down.

Moral of the story: Respect is for who behave well
