A Better Way To Entertain Your Co-Passengers While You Keep Your Eyes On The Road

Lets picture a scenario for a minute here…

Ever been on long drives with family or friends, say going on a trip no matter long or short?

Did the passengers ever get bored of looking at the road continuously while you drove the car?

Or did you all eventually run out of topics to discuss during the drive?

Did the one sitting right next to you doze off after getting tired of holding his/her phone surfing the internet which is now making you feel sleepy as well? We all know how dangerous that can be…

Are the parents sitting at the rear getting bored?

Are the kids sitting at the last row being too loud, loud enough to disrupt your concentration?

All of this could result in a very unfavorable drive for all of the passengers, including you, which might impact the trip itself!

Given, there are a number of things you could do to turn this trip around and lift the moods of everyone in it. But…what if there’s a simple solution…as simple as just watching YouTube videos without even holding your phones🤷‍♂️! And…what if you could do that for ABSOLUTELY FREE…without ever spending your hard earned money on any extra device apart from your Android phone which you might already have?

Intriguing, isn’t it?

As you may or may not already know, Android Auto had recently stopped supporting the AA Mirror Plus app altogether which allowed us to mirror our Android phones to the car’s head units enabling us to watch YouTube videos while the vehicle was in motion.

And if you’ve been watching my YouTube videos then you’ll probably be aware that a similar attempt was made back in December, last year, shortly after which, on December 16th to be exact, I had posted a video on my channel showing how I found a simple yet effective workaround just by downloading and installing an older version of Android Auto. And up till February 20th, this year, it was working perfectly for us, even though it was a bit of a hassle reinstalling the older version every single time we connected the USB cable to the car.

However, even that option is out the window now as none of the older versions work anymore including the version I had shared in my earlier video. Now, if you connect the cable, it will ask you to update the app itself which, unfortunately, does not solve the issue.

And after doing a lot of research into the matter, I have finally found a solution to this problem. And I have demonstrated that solution on my YouTube channel along with some of the limitations associated with that solution.
