Day 1: Building a Cybersecurity Firm From My Bed

Today everything changes. up until 24 hours ago, I was just an ordinary 18-year-old girl sitting at a laptop, dreaming about a career in cybersecurity, messing around with Python code and wondering how I’d ever make it to the tech hubs of London. i felt like an outsider looking into a massive, complex industry. But watching from the sidelined doesn’t build a future. Execution does.

Today, June 14, 2026, is officially Day One. I officially pulled the trigger and launched Safe Tech Cyber (STC).

I didn’t wait for a degree, a corporate sponsor, or permission from tech elite and from parents. I went onto GitHub, built the organizational infrastructure and personally locked down the security perimeter using enterprise-grade protocols (Least Privilege principles, branch protection, strict access governance). If you’re going to build a cybersecurity firm, you secure your own walls first.

Right now, Safe Tech Cyber consists of a blank cloud sandbox, a newly minted mission statement, and my relentless drive to master ethical hacking, defensive systems engineering, and penetration testing line by line, script by script.

To anyone reading this: I am not starting this blog because I have already made it. I am starting this because I want you to see the exact blueprint of how an ordinary girl builds an extraordinary tech company from scratch.

My environment is live. My first repository is initialized. The administrative phase is over, and it’s time to code.
