No matter what happens with the CBA

Yes, mom and dad are still fighting. No, there does not appear to be an end in sight. More people cross the invisible “Ruh-roh” line, joining the growing band of terribly worried fans.
Welcome. Thank you for coming. Officially, we are as broke as the owners claim to be and growing angrier than the players may have ever been. Here’s a cup for some coffee. Write your name on it so Brad doesn’t put Mt. Dew in it. Okay, follow me. You can pick a sign for picket time. We made them ourselves.
Minor League Baseball
We have it on good authority that, regardless of how Major League Baseball’s collective bargaining agreement negotiations continue, there will be baseball in 2022. And, yes, we trust the High-A Greenville Drive more than we trust Rob Manfred.
Minor League Baseball will officially kick off the 2022 season on April 5th. Put it on your calendar. And download the MiLB app if you haven’t already. It’s terrific. You can expect a full season from our beloved minor league system. For example, the Triple-A Iowa Cubs (CHC) are scheduled to play 155 games. (75 home, 80 away — April through Sept.)
College Baseball
Not only that, but ESPN has announced that it will air over 200 college baseball games on its premium networks and will stream over 2,000 across their digital platforms. Division I games are set to air beginning February 18th showing Rice vs. No 1-ranked Texas.
Korean Baseball Organization
For those of you still loving what our Baseball Family in Korea are up to — like we are, go Dinos! — you can expect to begin getting game updates on March 13, 2022.
The KBO continues to impress us with their handling of the game’s evolution, their incredible fan culture and game atmosphere, and overall solid baseball.
