Ghostery browser review

Will this firefox based browser compete with names like “brave browser”? Let’s find out

I liked how they provide you a setup assistant as soon as you open the browser.

Loved how they give you choices on this screen, and if you feel lost…you can always click the recommended ones

They brought to the table their own search engine! I did a couple of searches, it’s fast and I always found what I was looking for

What’s the catch?

This is the tricky part… the guys at Ghostery are trying a different business model here. They got a few plans, so essentially you pay them a few bucks and they take care of your privacy. If not, you’ll get ads.

Now, what’s different from you paying for Ghostery Plus, or just installing firefox + Ublock origin and a few tweaks? We’ll see what the future brings. I’m all bout bringing something new to the table and shaking the market.

The browsing speeds sure are fast, I liked the performance. I didn’t spot any ads on my usual websites. I’m open-minded about this one, but I believe they’re going to have a hard time getting subscriptions considering the free alternatives at this point.
