Juninho will play his third Copa America with Seleção.

12th July 2001

Juninho scored his fifth goal with Brazil and did three assists against Peru.

He didn’t score a free kick, but a header.

15th July 2001

Juninho did again two assists in 1/4 final of Copa America.

18th July 2001

Juninho made another assist and scored his penalty against Colombie but the team failed to progress to final.

21st July 2001

Juninho did another assist in the 3rd place playoff.

He finished the Copa América with 7 assists, just like Zé Roberto did in 1997. It’s a shame he didn’t break the record.

We’ve sold a few players and we needed a backup defender to cover for any absentees.

On the other hand, we’ve also signed some very good players; here they are:

We’re going to play in the Club World Cup, but many players will be absent as they are competing in the Confederations Cup, including Juninho.

And we recruited a new player, well known to everyone.

The Bianconeri managed to come back and overtake Palmeiras. Juninho provided an assist, and now they’re through to the final.

But there is a very bad news…

Now it’s up to Luizão, Pinto or Baggio to take over from Il Toro. The final will be against Milan.

Not a great game but Luizão did what he needs to do.

First Clubs World Cup for Juve and already 5th trophy with Old Lady for Juninho.
