Thank You, Ithaca

Yesterday I visited City Hall to introduce my book, Certified Exhibits, which is now indexed in the Library of Congress. I arrived ready to present and share the story behind the work.

When I got there, the Council had several important matters they needed to address first. While I was not able to speak because the public comment list had already reached capacity, my handouts were collected and distributed directly to the committee members and staff overseeing the meeting.

What stood out to me most was the engagement of the community. Ithaca residents showed up to speak about issues that mattered deeply to them, and their voices were heard. It was powerful to witness.

Even though I did not get the opportunity to present Certified Exhibits last night, the experience itself meant a lot. The book is about searching for truth, asking difficult questions, and having the courage to pursue answers.

My journey began with a legal battle and has now grown into something much bigger. It has led to becoming a published author, having my work indexed in the Library of Congress, and walking into City Hall to share that work with my community.

For that, I am truly grateful.
