The story of Perceval has several peculiar “features.”

The movements of the characters, the transitions between scenes, and the “locations” where significant events occur.

When viewed not merely as the flow of the narrative, but as a “layout” — certain points begin to align in an unnaturally precise manner.

For example, the timing of a character’s entrance and exit.

The location where another character faces a trial.

The outcome of a one-on-one duel.

And the scenes where silence or overlooking occurs.

Why is there a valley? Why can the castle only be found by certain people?…… These may seem disjointed, but when rearranged in a specific order, they form a single narrative flow.

What is even stranger is that this alignment does not occur in just one place, but repeats across multiple scenes.

It is as if, from the very beginning, it were designed according to “a certain arrangement.”

“What deserves particular attention is that it is the ‘order, not the events,’ that matches.”

Of course, we cannot make any definitive conclusions at this point.

But at the very least, there is a consistency here that cannot be fully explained by standard narrative structure alone.
