Datastage Errors Quick Fix : Broken Connection

Hey Guys ,

If you’re just finding ur way to Datastage , one of the most frustrating things that you can face is the broken connection issue

this occurs when you’re using an intranet and switch to wifi or when your wifi got disconnected and reconnected .

So the best option that u can have is to END TASK

However when you’re ending a task , know that you’re also locking jobs . if a job is opened on Datastage and you forced the end because of the broken connection , it will be locked for sometime before you can access it.

Another alternative is to kill the session .
