are like landmines

You just need to take a small step over it

And it will explode

A small step is like a stimulus

One that activates the suppressed emotions

It will come to the surface unabated

And cause an emotional upheaval

The landmine needs to be deactivated

And the way is to change the belief

Belief responsible for the creation of emotions

It needs to be replaced with a better belief

Till the time suppressed emotions reside

You will be susceptible to emotional turmoil

Even a small spark is enough

To cause an emotional meltdown

The event may be small

The reaction will be big

It was all lying within you

Waiting for a small stimulus to explode

Identify all the landmines

Change the belief responsible for them

The stimulus will then be ineffective

And you will be an emotionally stable person
