“Give it a wide berth, officer — bloody cowboys.”

“No, Atmos, I do not want you to scare the shit out of them.”

“And, watch out for all those friggin satellites.”

“No — you can’t use the subwoofers.”

“Turn them off now!”

“And, stop yelling, Geronimo.”

“I don’t care if I’m being bossy — I’m the Captain.”

“What do you mean you’ve broken the off switch?”

“What’s our trajectory?”

“Four minutes to impact?”

“Stop crying, Atmos!”

“Yes — I know you didn’t mean it.”

“Okay — I promise not to yell at you.”

“Saying three minutes to impact is very helpful, Atmos.”

“I know you’re sorry, and no, you can’t borrow my hankie.”

“Time to impact?”

“Two minutes — and no, officer, you don’t have my permission to call your mummy.”

I knew it would be one of those stranger days.
