Every person learns to soften in one way or another.

Some have an accident, some have a fatal disease, some suffer from the pain of separation, some have financial loss…

We all go through difficulties that give us the opportunity to resolve the hardness in our hearts.

But some of us understand the wisdom in this and soften;

Some of us, unfortunately, come out even tougher….

The difficulties and bad days we encounter in life are actually lessons that our souls need for growth.

Moreover, unless we accept the fact that this world is like a school and we are students at different levels here, it is possible to accept neither the challenges life may bring to us nor the people we encounter on our path as they are.

On the other hand, of course, only if it is our concern to be on the right path can we see the necessity of evaluating our beliefs, our way of thinking, and the things we have learned so far.

Otherwise, either we keep on going to live as we have done so far, unaware of the fact that we are living in a vicious cycle, missing the opportunities to mature, or we insist that what we have learned so far is “absolute reality” and that we are mature enough, unaware of the fact that there is no end to the degrees of maturity.

Lastly, I want to share a quote from Bedri Ruhselman, the founder of Neo-Spiritualism, also known as Experimental New-Spiritualism in Turkey.

Absolute reality is not comprehensible to human beings. Without accepting this, progress becomes hindered, potentially leading humans into the grip of bigotry.

The path to avoiding the disasters this affliction may bring is to acknowledge that every reality serves as a step towards a more comprehensive understanding. We must recognize that errors are possible in any reality; therefore, we shouldn’t idolize any particular reality. Instead, we should regulate our actions and behaviors based on this understanding.

An idealist who can achieve this can also be considered a good realist who elevates from one level to a new level.
