Love — a feeling that each of us has experienced at some point in life. An emotion which we continue to experience our entire lives. It is truly said that love makes the world go round — it sure does. Love, I believe is the most versatile and yet the most volatile emotion one can experience. Versatile because it exists in various forms and changes with time and age. Volatile because you can give your life to someone, but one misunderstanding, that one moment of realisation and you don’t love the person anymore. Of course, the exception to this rule is a mother's love for her child and an animal's love for his master — these are the purest forms of love, unconditional, unwavering, undying love.

Postcards

Many a time we are unable to say things directly to the ones we love. In such circumstances, letters become our saviours. In my opinion, a handwritten letter from a loved one is the best gift one can receive from a loved one. I appreciate how Jennifer Moorman Bolaños has preserved all the letters she received from her family, and I consider us Mediumers fortunate to have a glimpse of them as personal handwritten letters/postcards are almost extinct now in the age of the internet. These are invaluable treasures to be preserved for life. I have my collection of letters, birthday greeting cards and school slam books, safely tucked away somewhere too!

Freedom Is a River Running to the Sea

This story was again in response to my prompt on freedom.

It is a fresh take on freedom, artistically expressed in a poem by Karsten Ramser. The love for freedom is innate in every living being, humans and animals alike. But, if not kept in check, this love can transform into a thirst for freedom and the outcome can be disastrous.
